Become a Search for Jesus E-Counselor or Discipleship Coach

Please prayerfully consider the ministry the Lord has for you & how best to use your gifts, your talents and your time. Take time to review the information below to help you decide whether either of these roles is a good fit for you.

• You must be a follower of Jesus Christ and believe in the power of the Gospel.
• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be a citizen of the United States.
• You must have a dependable internet connection and agree to be online at least 2 hours a week. Your two hours can be completed in one sitting or broken up throughout the week.
• You must be a person of emotional and spiritual maturity.
• You must be free of any medication & alcohol that would impair your thinking or activity.
• You must focus on the emotional and spiritual care of others while volunteering online.
• You must be able to keep your conversations & personal contact information confidential.
• You must always be prepared to share God's hope.

In addition, we will require the following from each potential volunteer:

• To provide requested references and pass the reference checks.
• To consent to, pay for ($30), and successfully pass a background check. Please note, if something appears on your background check, this does not automatically disqualify you.
• To complete the Search for Jesus training program.
